Before you point me there, I have checked the pinned parts thread and most of the links are dead, or do not answer my query.

 

I need to get on ordering a second hand ABS pump for my 2005 1.9 TDI Octavia estate Mark 2 1Z5,  mechanic is looking too but is away for a few days now and I have not got the part number off him.

 

Online searches have pointed me to 1K0907379K... is that right?  Happy to share VIN too if needed but someone else may know.

This often seems to be paired with 1K0907379P.   Is one the pump and one the module?

 

This seems to be one of the few that eBay says it is happy to say matches my vehicle, does this look right to you?

The part number I quoted matches what's on the part number label of that one, so yep, should be correct.  

The number on the black bit is just for the electronic control unit; a subcomponent of the whole.

Plus ebay is dodgy... put in your car for search results that fit and get a nice green tick, then click on the item and get "this does not fit" on the listing.  Make your mind up, eBay!
