A-Pillar Trim Help

Featured Replies

Hi Everyone,

I'm new here, but hoping I can ask for some help already! I've got a 2020 (Mk3.5) vRS hatch, and have begun the process of installing my dashcam. I've found the guide(s) on here very useful, but despite only having had the car for two days, have already managed to break something!

So, firstly, does anyone have the part number for the little spring clips that hold the panel on? One of them got a bit wonky during the removal, and I'd rather fit a new clip than risk a rattle. I believe it is 8P0 867 276(A) (found from @bigade1), but I haven't found many matches online. I will phone my local Skoda dealer tomorrow, but in the event they don't/can't have any, does anyone know where else I'd find them? I haven't found any in the UK, other than under a different part no for an Audi C-Pillar.

Secondly, see pics. During the removal (by far the hardest bit of trim I've ever removed, if I may say so), some of the little retaining clips managed to get a bit messed up. I don't think they're that much of an issue, but being so close to the airbag, and not wanting any rattles on my new car, I thought I'd ask on here. Will they make any difference to the fit of the panel? Should I leave them, trim them off or am I after a new panel? It's only the two of them, and they're in the middle (above my thumb in the first photo). I feel a bit stupid for damaging them, but after sliding the panel back a bit, it suddenly sprung off and I think they got caught on the pillar.

Thank you so much everyone! I found the community on seatcupra.net to be invaluable, so looking forward to becoming part of the Briskoda group ;)
