Best re-read your warranty, know the T&C,s and go on and get the car you bought fit for purpose.  Ie, not faulty.  Get them to sort it or to have people that know what they are doing sort out the faults.     Their pre sale inspection was not up to much if it came with the leak.   Why did you clean it up and wait 8 weeks?

I didnt know it was a leak until someone suggested it this past week, I have a pretty busy life and just didn't have the time to get it looked at properly until today. I've contacted the warranty company directly as the garage I purchased it from don't open till 10.30am and they're about a 2 hour drive to me. When I purchased the car it ran fine for the first few weeks, most of the build up of the white stuff was hidden by the engine cover so wasn't as noticeable with just a quick look round the engine bay. This is really the first time I've been able to get a good look at it. The warranty covers all parts and work. I've also paid for an extended warranty through my finance company for 2 years (platinum cover)

Is that a RAC warranty Platinum Cover?       Regardless, you have consumer rights with the seller / Dealer before any need to use the Warranty.      They need to fix faults and there is a time scale.

We can permanently fix this for you, and prevent any additional adblue issues. However I’d try get it dealt with via a warranty claim first

We’d also be happy to investigate the other issues you’re having
