Is it possible to change the start up screen from the first picture to the second one with speedometer in the middle? 

Well it must be ‘cause that 2nd screen is what I have all the time……. It I’ve no clear idea how to set it - I think it’s in the menu ‘vehicle’ settings page.

Mine is the same as the 2nd pic all the time as well - didn't think I'd done anything.

 

So you switch the car off with the 2nd pic, but next time you switch on its back to the 1st pic?

On the steering wheel there is a button (right hand side right arrow) to scroll through the display settings.

 

On the navigation unit you can go to vehicle settings, instrument cluster & you can't fully configure the display and the contents of the rounds dials (speed, fuel economy, trip info, ACC display etc) 

Turns off personalisation on the headunit.

 

Pretty sure the welcome message can't be displayed on the sport mode screen so it changes to one which can display it 👍

 

That worked on my 2018 Octavia at least.
