I've lost half my two-tone horn

Featured Replies

Help!

I went to encourage a sheep to move off the road over last weekend and instrad of the rather good two-tone horn, I'd lost the lower of the two tone and now it sounds strangled.

I don't know where/what to check. Are ther seperate fuses for the two horns? Is there a weird setting I haven't found?

I have the servicing package with warranty and AA. Will the warranty cover horn failure?

Any ideas?

Likely one of the horns has failed as they're on the same supply. You're lucky, some of the latest Skodas come with a single tone horn and they sound awful.

Thanks @sussamb.

I managed to track down the fuse layout and, yes, only one 15A fuse.

I spoke to the Skoda dealer who confirmed it's likely covered by warranty, but the nearest one is 56 miles away in Oswestry!

I was really pleased with the two-tone horn, so it's a real shame the new Karoqs have a sigle tone one.
