Octavia IV obd port cover

Featured Replies

Hi all , I recently purchased a 2020 Mk IV Octavia and noticed that there is no obd cover or trim. (Under the steering wheel to the right) just wanted to check if the car comes like this stock from factory.

Any responses would be greatly appreciated.

Your kidding right ..

Yes. Why would it need a cover? For decades we haven't had them.

You had me panicking 😂😂

newbie to ŠKODA my last 2 cars were BMW’s and they had them. Thanks for the reply

Yeah the BMW and Mercedes usually have a cover over them, but not all. Cant see a bit of dust causing a problem. Never seen a dirty one before anyway if that helps.

So just to clarify - the photo I took was without moving any covers. Is there not normally a larger cover, covering all of the wiring here etc.

Looks the same as mine which I photographed this morning (I couldn't quite get the same angle but you should be able to see the similarities).

That's what I thought at first 😂 hence my comment. Just was a really strange angle for the photo I think.
