Time to say adios to our gas uzzling Subaru

Featured Replies

Looking to replace the Subaru....we love it to bits as it does everything for us....BUT....you new that was coming didnt you...it does 25 mpg towing and 30 on a good day. We had a small hatchback for all the local stuff but that has now died to we are looking to replace 2 with one....so thats a smaller SUV ish, with good mpg that also can tow a small trailer when needed 3 times a month, 20 miles max, around 250kg.

So its narrowed down to an Ateca or Karoq. We know the differances between the 2 and prefer the Karoq BUT a quick look with towbar express  has a £900 to fit!  I nearly fainted and my wallet started to cry.

So we have many ?? But have you fitted a bar yourself/had a company done it????

Think I paid about £750 for a detachable swan neck with 13 pin dedicated electrics on ours.
