can anybody recommend any upgrade brakes calipers and what kit is required

Maybe best say what Model of Mk3 you have as a starter. Engine / Gearbox / Trim.

Gear box dsg 2016 230 vrs running stage 4 running bhp 400 plus. Have yellow ebc put not up to the job 

 

You got Audi brake ducts, braided lines and fresh high temp fluid?

Got braided lines yes high temp fluid. What's the brake ducks thing.

Id guess an Audi S3/RS3 brake upgrade would be next logical solution. I cant recall anything but theres been some big power number cars on the Facebook groups if you are on there. 

 

The other thing to compare is whether the mk7 Golf GTi has the same stock brake setup and what those boys have done, they are a more commonly modified platform.

There are audi R/S3 ducts that fit on the front arms to direct air to the back of the brakes.  Apparently works quite well.
