Apologies if this has been up before but….

i have just bought a 2103 mk2 1.2 with projector lights 2bulbs( H7 behind projector and separate h4). All seemed well until my first night drive and flicked the stalk forward to turn on high beams and they came on but instantly turned back off. They work if stalk pulled back but not pushed forward. I’ve been reading through some old threads on here that suggest stalk replacement but nobody seems to have done this and confirmed it solves the issue. Can anyone confirm this works please as replacement stalks aren’t cheap especially with the cornering function which I assume mine has with it having the correct fuse fitted on the fuse panel. Tia

Try some electrical contact cleaner first.

Tried contact cleaner but no joy. If it’s a new stalk set that’s needed I’m going to have to put my hand in my pocket and  stump up for it  unfortunately.
