Another question about the facelift

The facelift looks pretty good but maybe out of my price range I'm seeing £35k for the se l diesel. 

The 13 inch infotainment I've been reading but is there a huge difference to it? My worry is there will be new software for it and things won't be available for the old octavia the 10 inch 

Really need a new car now or a few months and want to nail it. I'm looking at the bmw 2 series too but seems kind of pointless on the motorway I could be wrong. Bmw has great reviews but skoda looks OK. 

Is this a hate forum all brands r crap only skoda is great lol
