Front knocking sound but not around corners.

Featured Replies

So my 2009 superb has developed a knocking sound over bumps and uneven roads.

now when I turn a corner left or right there is no sound when moving.

just putting the question out there before I get it looked at.

Could be top mount struts?

droplinks?

balljoints?

any idea before I get it looked at when I’m free?

thanks in advance.

I had a knocking sound recently, very quickly turned bad, top strut mount bearing had collapsed, had to get towed home.
