newcomer is here. I have a couple of questions regarding infotainment system. My car is Scala 2019,vin is TMBEK9NW5K3016195. I believe I have Bolero system.

 

Is there a good source of intro resources to learn about terminology/systems? Thinking of learning to speak the language and understand better what is mib, ocv, and other commonly used abbreviations.

 

My real question is how to run software updates? Should I prepare them on USB? Or could it be done over the air? If I go to updates from the unit itself, it shows none.

Found some information. This video shows how to enter a service menu. which gives access to SW Train value and software update. One needs to hold Menu button for this.

 

Having SW Train code, it is possible to update via mib-helper.com website.
