Don't really look at the back seats much but saw the middle seat back has a not symmetrical cut out in the backrest by the seatbelt clips.

Guessing this I normal and no trim is missing?

That looks like space for the LH hinge of the ski hatch. 

That’s normal, just where the hinge is for the 1/3rd 2/3rd split.

 

Small piece of black trim over the hinge top and bottom to cover it but the cut out bit is normal yes
