Bouncing revs

Featured Replies

Getting bouncing revs in idle. Stops if I turn engine off and on again.

Tends to be at the end of a drive and getting intermittent jerking whilst accelerating now. Any help greatly appreciated!

First siple step would be scanning for engine codes with OBD II scanner.

I don't know much about diesels so can't help much but I guess it could be something as simple as MAF sensor or something as complex as diesel injection pump.

Thanks for the info! Yeah going to do that today and find out. Ironically few weeks back it had an air intake sensor error. So had that replaced. Wondering if that wasn’t done correctly
