Hi all, I have a Skoda superb saloon L&K 2023  and it’s took me a while to figure out how to get my road signs to display on my sat nav. I found a setting for them to show on my infotainment as an additional screen but wondering if it’s possible to get them to show on my dash board? If not , anyone been successful activating TSR , I managed to get it to show on my assistance menu but asked for a secure login which I don’t know code for 

I suspect the sat nav is just using the info it already has rather than reading the road signs. An easy test is to drive through some roadworks where there is a temp speed limit and see if it changes from the regular limit to the temp signed limit.

 

Sounds like you may need to buy/subscribe to it. On earlier models it could be activated with VCDS assuming you had the correct camera.

Ok thanks. I will give this a try. Due for a long drive soon so will bound to be some road works at some point to test.

It does pick up some signs though. As I’m driving around it picks up the speed , and it’s shown bend signs and hair pin bends

"Looking through the windscreen" is surely more useful, since this gives you an idea of safe speed, good line and "what the idiot coming the other way is doing"?

Yes , but there can be times that it’s a good as a reminder ! 

I thought S IV has TSR as standard.

Doesn’t seem to be the case. It’s picks up speeds and some signs via the sat bag but no display on the dash. 

When was it delivered?

Since July 2024 ALL new cars have to have ISA - intelligent speed assist - which DETECTS the speed "prescribed" and dials down your speed. You can overrule it but basically this is done with the A5 camera. Even if your car was delivered before July they would not have switched TSR off for a handfull of cars.

is it true that 2Q0 cameras can't support TSR adaptation/long coding?

i've read a lot of forums, including Briskoda without any solution. 

I tried to activate and i see an error every time i start the car.

You need a SWaP / FeC code from Škoda. They will not supply it as aftermarket item.

 

On Briskoda someone said that he got an activation code from a friend who has access to the Škoda mothership. I do not think he would get codes for others.
