Noisy brakes

Featured Replies

Hi everyone. I am new to this and this is my first post. I took delivery of my Kodiaq 1.5 SEL Executive 7 seat last December. I noticed that the brakes when applies make a grating noise reminisent to worn brakes that need replacing. I heve mentioned this to my dealership and was told that they need wearing in. To this day they are still making this noise. Has anyone had the same problem as me?

Surely on, what I assume, is a new car, the brakes may need 'wearing in' but I'm sure that in 8 months, they probably were worn in about 7 months and 3 weeks ago. Go to a different dealer.
