How do I lift up the edge of interior flooring carpet?

Featured Replies

Hello!

The problem is following: my kids thought it's cool to drop small objects (coins, safety pins etc) into the small opening on the passenger side (right side) B-pillar small slot where the seatbelt runs to (marked with a green circle on the picture). As they fell through that little hole under there, I can't reach to these coins even with some sticks or something. So I'd have to lift up the edge of the flooring there. And the question is that how can I do that without damaging anything seriously. I mean if there are some clips which could break easily then it's good to know it before I start to disassembling the panels.

Should I start with the upper side of B-pillar trim, then the lower part and then the door sill trim?

I also added some screenshots of the OE-catalog where I marked the place I need to get to and also the B-pillar trims which need to be removed.

I appreciate any help guys!

Thanks!
