TPMS Fault

Featured Replies

The TPMS light is staying on, holding button briefly turns it off for a fraction of a second, you get the chime from dash. Tried various durations of holding the button whilst stationary and even when driving but with no success. Tried two different diagnostic tools to reset or clear fault again with no success. This is the passive/indirect type so relies on ABS which works fine. No other faults or issues with the car.

These are the pictures of the two screens of my diagnostic tool. Is there a separate module that is causing this or part of the ABS system? Does anyone know where it is located or whatever is required to fix this?

Thanks Baz

Can you post full autoscan from VCDS?

This. You really need a full scan with VCDS or OBDEleven to get a picture of what's going on.

This is the best as gives overall picture and detailed error codes

I have same fault - was there any conclusion. Have done a scan with a friends kit can get details as acronyms don't mean much to me and reset all faults but can get details. Happens about every 200 miles - have a record. I can clear fault using reset button though. No other faults apparent. Tyres and wheels as original all matched. Pressures as per handbook
