Kodiaq Diesel 4x4 2017 - Juddering when braking

Featured Replies

I recently had issues with my braking the car and steering wheel juddering when braking  -

So front discs and pads replaced - still and issue

Rear brakes and pads also replaced - juddering improved not as violent - but still there - but now check brake pads lights come on - then whole internal screen blank you can still hear music when phone connected but screen blank but also no more sensor warning light on dash for brakes???

Its starting to cost me a fortune...considering a new one either Mark II or nearly new Mark I L&K

In my case juddering was caused by the loose front axle beam (no kidding!).

Wow that sounds dangerous did it judder when braking? Mine seems worse from 80mph dropping to 70/60...

It did judder quite hard. Changed front disks, no difference. Actually local dealer changed a bunch of stuff, including steering rack (cost me eventually total 2800 euros) until some mechanic noticed that the axle beam bolts are loose.
