Have not been able to connect since CarPlay updated some time back. Any ideas as to how I can fix this?

Sorry but I do not have the first clue about such things as - be prepared for a shock - I have never owned a so-called "smart" phone but until someone else posts, if you have not done so already, you could look at similar posts and topics on this forum, that your thread/post is on (Skoda Fabia Mk III (2014-2021)) or do a Google search which might bring you back here, to see if they help. -  https://www.briskoda.net/forums/forum/298-skoda-fabia-mk-iii-2014-2021/

 

SO I understand you have infotainment system with SmartLink activated. Try another cable between USB and your phone and try another phone to with both cables to identify if the problem is with your phone or with the infotainment system.

 

Also pls post part number and SW version of your infotainment system - can be checked in menu SETTINGS then SYSTEM INFORMATION
