The buttons are are lit up Green as is the colour scheme of the screen, this MFD2 that I have fitted is the orginal Skoda part, and therefore starts up with the Skoda "welcome on board screen".

It is based on the CD version, however newer versions for VW's light up either Blue or Red and they are DVD based units.

If the part number ends in 194 it is a CD version.

I was tempted to get the DVD VW version, but the Skoda one will help me when time comes to sell the car as it looks like a standard factory fit worth

I have treid to order the alluminum trim for around my MFD2 (1Z0 858 069 L 2AU) to be told that the part is not found ?

They are unable to search for this without a Chasis number. As this part is only available for a VRs then my Elegance will not do?

Anyone got any ideas ?
