Grinding/squeaking noise

Hi guys, thought I'd post in here to see what your think before going to the dealer and getting fobbed off with "characteristic of the car"

Last few days I've noticed what I can only describe as a grinding/squealing type noise.

Can start about 20mph, and more pronounced if I turn right or drive straight. Turning left stops the noise, as well as breaking.

I've attached a audio clip, hopefully you can hear it.

Self composting brake disc backplates, probably rear, first one usually kerbside.

Maybe best stick to the original thread.

Has it had the Haldex Serviced at least twice?

@Jimbobnob Was it the Dealer Principal, the Sales Person or a Tech or Master Tech that test drove your car and says it is  characteristic of the car?

Was there not another one there that you could have driven to compare and see if it was faulty because it never made the same noise?

Hi,

sorry i may have confused things.

To clarify, I've not yet taken the car to Skoda yet, but in the past they have tried fobbing be off with other niggles (which I actually solved myself with support from people on this forum!) - hence me wanting to get some guidance on before heading down there.

All servicing is up to date (including DSG oil change, 2x Haldex services (including gauze/filter clean), all oil services on time etc..

I have recently noticed this on my Kodiaq a 2019 SEL  2.0 TDi DSG 4x4 but only on 40000 miles.  Need to get under car and have a look. It only happens sometimes  but when under load towing caravan does not happen.

Problem resolved today, replaced rear pads and discs. 100% worn and was metal on metal!

@Jimbobnob Good that things are sorted out, but you said Full Skoda Service History so had it not been serviced in the past year and was their not the normal 80% worn warning then which is given sometimes when there is hardly any wear, of pads of discs.

Maybe time you use a good independent mechanic or do inspections yourself.

Jimbobnbob was the car braking smoothly though? My brakes are lovely and smooth and quiet and powerful but I have a similar noise to yours when driving can be heard at slow speeds.
