2017 yeti door locking

Featured Replies

Hi again

My 2017 yeti is playing up again , this time it's the door locks.

When you press the key fob it only opens the drivers door you need to press it 3 times to get all doors open.

Had it to a auto electrian when it first started with just the front passenger door not opening he fitted a new actuator which worked for 2 days then went again , he got in touch with VW who say it could be the module ?

anybody else had this problem.

Thanks in advance for replies.

Inspect the drivers door loop wiring carefully, unclip and slide back the bellows between the door hinges and check for broken conductors and fractured insulation.

Has the multi-stage unlocking inadvertently been enabled for that key?

What would we do without Briskoda and its members?

They may not be incorrect, if nobody has changed the settings then something has corrupted them in the module.

Time will tell.

I had never noticed this option, every day is a learning day.

That's why you & I and many others support Briskoda with Freedom membership 👍
