Numerous Error Codes

Featured Replies

My 2012 Fabia VRS has until last Saturday has run trouble free. Last Saturday it just stopped approx 200 metres from home, it restarted and got me home, On checking the engine management light was on. I thought nothing more until Sunday when checked the owners manual and it indicated that there was a exhaust problem and recommended I take it to a dealership garage.

I got a friend who is a mechanic and he checked the diagnostics with his laptop and it came up with a number of error codes which he said they related to one another indicating a possible timing chain error. However his expertise is with diesel engines he suggested checking with a VW/Skoda specialist as the engine is of VW origin. He photographed the error codes and suggested sending them to yourselves. The photographs are attached. I would really appreciate any guidance you could give. Thanks in advanced

Regards,

Alan

I should have said that the car would not start on Sunday. Every attempt was an engine attempted to start for one second and then nothing.
