Has anyone found a solution to:

- central air vents that lack direction & flow control

- central vents that seem freezing cold regardless of target temp

- getting a frozen left arm

- lethargic side air vents that never seem to do much

Side vents I leave aiming at the side windows to ensure they don’t steam up.

Central vents I tweak according to heating or cooling requirements. Yes, can get a cold arm from time to time but a nudge to redirect the flow a little and it’s fine.

I’ve not had an issue with the centre vents always being cold.

Glad it’s not just me who can’t get on with them😄

Central vents chucking out cold air regardless has annoyed me for sometime…I end up closing them in the winter.

This is something that kinda annoys me, they're made to defog the side windows and no air comes out of them regardless of setting and position

 

I presume OP is from the UK. Being right hand drive the complaint will be about the middle vents 🙂
Having said that, I found the middle vents annoying at first, but am coming to grips with them. I'm suspecting that in summer they will mostly blow cold air and in winter will not be doing much. Auto setting should then heat the car from the bottom vents. 

 

Middle vents for me are in just the wrong place. Freezes my knee when I drive. You can't rest your foot on the support by the pedals 😅
