Rudolph the Furby vRS

Featured Replies

Ok, after meeting up with Britzyblue and getting meself some Eibachs (Cheers mate!) :D he let me have a look at the outgoing vRS and his colour coded numberplate mount.

To be honest I wasn't too sure about it before I saw it in the flesh, but once I did I must say it looked a LOT better on the silver car. But I still wasn't too convinced about it on the red. So heres a quick Photoshop. Any comments?

I like it - fits better with the colour coded mirrors etc.

Though it's a slippery slope doing colour coding, door handles next!

door handles, number plate and grill surround are on my shopping list.

I also think removing the rubbing strips looks worse than colour coding them, but it is cost saving so might be worth doing.

Chris.

I think colour coding is very difficult to do without ruining the look of a car. If you colour code everything a car will end up looking very bland and dull. I prefer the black reg mount because it matches the black of the grill.
