Sorry guys - i've done a search and can't quite find the info i need,

Just bought an 02 Octavia estate and need to put a roof rack on it for leisure use - kayaks. It Doesn't have roof rails and i'm struggling to find a rack that fits, there's none of the the little sliding bits either like the hatch?

I think I need to get the rails installed and then put the bars onto those - is that correct:confused: ?

Just went around to the local dealer to order the rauils only to discover that apparently the kit has been discontinued for my particular chassis number:mad:

Not sure what the relevance is - perhaps different bolt positions or something?

Anybody fitted these - disappointed now as was actually quite liking the style aspect of them.

If you're after the actual roof rails, a scrapyard might be able to help, if the dealer can't ?
