MS office 2003 saving issue

Featured Replies

Got an issue with office 2003.. specifically Excel.

We have a web-based info system with a option to export to Excel.. so it opens the xls sheet in excel inside the web-browser..

problem is, if you go to save the spreadsheet using save as, it asks for a username and password for the website, as it trys to open that page by default to save back to.. if you press cancel, then it defaults to my documents.. but is there anyway to stop it asking for a user/pass for the website?

this problem didnt exist in office 97, became a problem in office 2000 but got fixed in a service pack.. but is now back :(
