An OBD2 SCANNER ABOUT £16 TO £20 should reset it.

To add more I was looking for a possible parasitic drain pulled out a fuse with engine running.

Air bag light stayed on no matter what I did but a cheap scanner cleared it and panic was over.

bobspark - any idea what scanner you used. Mine won't clear it but also shows no faults.

Found it hard to insert into socket and hard to understand (maybe me)but it cleared the fault.

Hi everyone, I have a Skoda Fabia with a 1.2 AZQ engine. I have a warm running issue - the car misfires/stutters when fully warm. The intake air temperature (IAT) reads around 80°C when the problem occurs. When I unplug the EGR connector the car runs perfectly and IAT drops to around 30°C. Parts already replaced: EGR valve (new) + adaptation done MAP sensor (new) Coolant temperature sensor (new) PCV valve (new) EGR pipe is clean, no carbon buildup Breather hose between EGR and air filter ho

I have a 2024 Octavia Vrs diesel. Last year I was in France approaching one of the free ferries over the river Seine, downstream of Rouen. I took a wrong turn and had to reverse, then go slowly forward to get to the correct lane. At only about 2 or 3 mph the car came to a sudden violent stop accompanied by a bang. 2014 SE. Had a low battery which failed to start the car. New battery. Car will start but dies after 3 seconds. Full tank of petrol. Dash engine light goes off but EPC remains on. Dash panel shows 'Safe' at all times. List of items checked: All fuses. Key fob battery. Spare key tried. Cam sensor changed. Ignition barrel and reader antenna changed. Crank sensor passes check. Getting along quite well with my new SE Edition 1.0 TSI 116 PS DSG after the first week. Finding my way around most things but have one wee niggle. Does anyone have knowledge of how to set up a phone (android) with this 8" display system? I can call up contacts and make calls using the phone section of Android Auto but the dedicated phone section from the menu just comes up as a load of blank 'favourites' boxes. It won't allow me to import contacts or add anything to these favourites or add any

Thought I'd post here since a lot of Fabia's will have the same engine. Above purchased new in January of this year and from day 1 idles at ~ 1000 RPM even when fully up to temperature. Just now, after a 10 mile trip, VCDS shows a idling speed of 996/1002 RPM, coolant temperature 92C, (Tacho display shows ~ 1100 RPM), all auxiliary electrical loads off including interior blower. A 2019 65BHP TSI Polo in the family idles at ~ 760/780 RPM and only increases to ~ 1000 RPM when the clutch is press
