Which pattern is correct 1 or 2?

Full disclosure - no experience with Bi-xenon, but I'd say beam pattern 1  - number 2 looks less focused and with too much scatter between steps. Lower step (on left) possibly too high as well.

Why the pattern is different?

Both headlights should be the same height so number 2 is correct - assuming that the headlights are at the right height which is impossible to tell from a picture :)

Arh...the curse of the Bi-xenon's. I had enormous problems with the these headlights not pointing the correct direction and the beam alignment seeming to be out when driving. Only way around it was to "drive quicker" as the beam is meant to focus on your steering direction but never seems to quite get it right. You can alternatively switch off the beam direction system by manually selecting main beam and NOT auto.
