In order to use Škoda Connect services, the licence for Care Connect Remote Access for your car must be valid. However, the licence for Care Connect Remote Access has expired on 8 February 2025.
Please note that it is not necessary to have purchased mobile data from Cubic Telecom to use Škoda Connect services, as the vehicle itself provides internet access for Škoda Connect services.

According to Ofcom, here in the UK some providers have already turned off their 3G networks, others scheduled to do so by early 2025. Also, they plan to cease 2G services by 2033 but as yet no planned

  • Mine is a 2023 and I get the same message even though all mk4 have atleast 2 LTE antennas

Makes sense....... They are saying your Skoda Care Connect expired on 8th February this year so you need to re-subscribe.... What you have purchased already as we have said from looking at your photos is the Cubic Telecom data package which is something totally different and just means passengers can use your car as a wifi hotspot then use that data to browse the web etc.....  Can you show us via a photo the screen you have that says you need a code to use the Care Connect as you should just be given the option to buy in the app.

In my app it's as follows.....

In the MySkoda app you need to press Profile.

then paid services.....

then it will show what status your Care Connect and other services are.......

Then if you touch Care Connect it takes you to Care Connect screen with details of what it can do and should give you a button to purchase (I don't get that button as I am already subscribed).

in my app it is completely different, it says cubic telecom only, not skoda services, this should be defined by country, Albania should have something different, I will go to the dealer but I am afraid they dont know either what to do 😞
