Fitting ARB to Fabia. Torque settings ?

Hi Everybody.

I intend to fit my Jabbasport ARB asap.

Does anyone know the torque settings for the rear lower shock absorber nut & bolt and also how tight the band strap holding the ARB mounts should be.

I can't help with the Torque setting I'm afraid however I can tell you that Jabba assure me you don't need to tighten the bands too much.

Your guide and website is excellent. Been there many times Ta. However when it comes to suspension I feel better if everything is tightened up correctly.

I wonder if its the same torque setting on a Polo or Ibiza. Hmmm - This calls for some secret browsing in the Halfords library.

I've done some research on the higher and stiffer shock absorbers and coil springs which Skoda offers on Scout models and found their aftermarket analogues: * Front Shocks: Bilstein B4 #22-274182 * Front Springs: ??? * Rear Shocks: Bilstein B4 #19-274195 * Rear Springs: SACHS 992 103 (analogue of OEM #5Q0511115AM) My queries are: 1/ What are the higher and stiffer front springs OEM numbers? 2/ Are there good aftermarket alternatives for the same? 3/ Is there better rear

I'm looking at a 2020 Kamiq SEL as a second car, which has the fairly rare 'adaptive' cruise control (not 'predictive adaptive'). I've had mixed experiences with ACC on two Citroens. My recent C5 has it, and it works great and very smoothly so long as you remember that all it really does is keep you on station with the car in front and stop you running into it. Hello all, I'm looking for some feedback from those of you who have their EA888.4 ECU and DQ381 TCU tuned. Ideally, from those with the 245 version, although I'll still happily hear out those with similar EA888.3 245/280 models. I'm currently in between two possible solutions: a comprehensive RacingLine OEM+ Stage 1 ECU/TCU tune, versus a combinations of Revo Stage 1 (ECU) and TVS Stage 2+ (TCU). In both scenarios, I'll be aiming for a 95RON, low-torque file, since I'm not only limited by the

Bit of a long shot here. I have very recently bought a 66 plate Superb estate, which came with a steel 16" spare in the boot. It also came with the foam insert and tool kit for the 18" wheel, which obviously doesn't work. Does anyone have the foam insert from an old 16" sat around that they would be prepared to sell? The garage I bought from were not the most helpful, and I don't think that is likely to change any time soon. Cheers in advance.

Whilst in France last week my car received an infotainment update, The car is a 2024 Octavia Vrs diesel hatchback, with a reversing camera retrofitted by East Yorkshire Retrofit. After the update two odd things happened. Firstly the reversing camera did not work at all the first time I reversed the car after the update. Then it worked, but instead of the full screen showing the camera view, it is now two thirds camera view and one third a top-down outline of the car with curved lines showing the
