Pls Help - No blowers, A/C, heated seats, heated windscreen

Featured Replies

My climate control panel is off and not working… so, no blowers, A/C, heated seats, heated windscreen...etc.

however, although its off, the blowers are stuck on... even when ignition is off.. and this running battery down.

...annoyingly, the climate control panel does occasionally flicker back on and work fine but then goes off again.

Please can anyone help with suggestions on the possible route cause?  I’m thinking water ingress ?

Sincere thanks for any feedback

Regards, Cliff

First thing to try is disconnect the battery, wait 5 minutes and reconnect the battery (don't worry about other warning lights, they will disappear after a short drive) to see if a power off reset gets the climate control panel working.

Have a look to see if water has got into the fusebox in the engine bay. Sounds like a relay is sticking on.

Thanks chaps, on initial inspection of the fuse box it looks to be dry ....  +  its strange that the fault is intermittent and that the blowers are stuck on... even when ignition is off

That's the fusebox internally - try the one under the bonnet.
