Finns det  någon sensor som känner av oljans kondition på Fabia 1,2 55kw 2011 ?

Is there a sensor that detects the condition of the oil on the Fabia 1.2 55kw 2011?

I very much doubt it.

But Skoda never gave that engine a Code for Variable / Flexible servicing did they until a year or 2 later than yours.

So a  Fixed Service Regime for Oil & Filter changes.

Such a small Oil Capacity that regular oil changes is just 'Simply Clever' is it not?

Tell me the VIN (17 character vehicle identification number) if you wish me to check for your vehicle.

It will only detect level and temperature,  but that is what is required.

TMBEH65J3B3145960  I'm thinking in general, is there such a complicated sensor within VAG that can detect the condition of the oil.

Amazing sensors that know so much. Like how a vehicle is used.

But an 'Onboard laboratory' they are not.

They are not that great in VW Group engines at letting you know the Oil level is low until very low.

As far as checking oil levels. Check at 'Normal Operating temperature', (Skoda said WARM, VW, AUDI, SEAT said HOT.)

Then 1.2 44 kW VW Engines, according to Skoda back in 2010/11. Checked Cold.

Yes, there is one. Part number 045 907 660 D; located just behind the crank pulley.

As I said, before, it only senses oil level and temperature. That info can be integrated with other recorded data about vehicle usage pattern so that the 'service required' or oil level warning messaging can be produced at an approximately useful time.

@eco1  Does your cars allow you to reset the Service interval from 15,000 km / 9,300 miles , 372 days to variable and 30,000 km, 24 months?

Or is it already on that setting?
