Servicing dilemma

Featured Replies

my 1.9tdi is up ofr it's first mot and full service, it's on variable. the main dealer here in newcastle is charging

As long as they carry out the service as per schedule and use the correct oil then there is no harm in Kwik fit doing it. You pays ya money you take ya chances.

they've got a list of their service schedule on their site, looks comprehensive enough. i would rather stick with a skoda dealer but that's a massive price difference. can't make me mind up:confused:

if it needs the MOT it will surely be out of warranty. Why not buy the bits elsewhere and do the service yourself.

Or look at independants rather than the Skoda dealer that is charging rip off prices.

I doubt that Kwik Fit will charge £350 !! I think you should

take ya chances

i'd do it myself if i was any good with engines, but i'm useless. i've just booked it in, subject to confirmation, will post on how it goes later this week. hope i can report one of the good reports i've heard of them rather than one of the nightmares:eek:
