What shall I do with a sunken belt buckle?

Featured Replies

Excuse the drunken sailor pun. Couldn't help it 😂.  As you can see from the photos, the middle belt buckle has sunken into the seats and I can't pull it out to get the belt in. I've tried a pair of grips and pliers but it's so tight and so far down that I can't get at it. Any idea's before I take it to the garage?

Remove the rear seat and thread it back.

Could you click another belt into the receiver, and then get someone to pull sideways, and make more room to probe in the gap?

@sussamb I tried that but couldn't figure out how to do it. It seemed like they were fixed. I'll have another look.

@Choclab Good idea. I'll try that and report back. Thanks!
