Wheel white worm

Featured Replies

Hi.  A couple of the wheels on my Sept 2021 car seem to have 'white worm' corrosion, see picture.

There's no sign of damage to the lacquer, they haven't been kerbed.

The car has an extended Skoda warranty, what are the chances of this being covered?

Thanks

you been using any harsh wheel cleaning material or taking it to third party car wash places? Some of those hand wash places put some serious chemicals on wheels to clean. I've heard it can damage the lacquer causing the white worm. plus stone chips etc can too.

Give it a go on getting it Warrantied. But think with the age they will most likely push back as general wear and tear.

No, just car shampoo.  I'll report back, worth a try.
