Good tyre/suspension place in Dublin

Featured Replies

Hey,

can any of the briskoda sages recommend a good tyre/suspension place in Dublin?

I've got some vibration of the wheel at around the 70mph mark, which is annoying on the motorways.

It disappers over that speed, but I don't want to be doing that too much.

I suppose I'm looking at getting the wheels balanced and possibly the alignment checked.

I've had some bad experiences with places near me (one place took a chunk out of an alloy when repairing a puncture) and am looking for recommendations?

thanks,

I've had good experience with the tyre place at Blakes Cross, lusk direction, they have a fairly decent 4 wheel laser alignment job out there... if you check over on www.vagdrivers.net there may be some more city centre based opinions...

I've had good dealings with Fast Fit on the Kylemore Road (Dublin 12).

fast fit is prob the best in dublin for tyres:) have just replaced a goodyear eagle F1 215/45/17 ......it was 149 euro:) else where wanting 240 euro!!!! plus if you do manage to find anywhere cheaper(unlikely) they will beat the price if you tell them where you found it cheaper!!

k:)

Dave McCann tyres in Blanch. 205 55 16 contis for €110 each. He's also got the alignment gear as well

Sounds like your wheels need balancing, maybe worth just having this done first.

I got Pirelli PZero Nero's form eiretyres.com or .ie for
