Condensation in headlights

Featured Replies

Hi Everyone

Recently purchased a 2019 1.5 tsi SE L Executive Estate and have some condensation in both front headlights.

Is this a normal?  Is there anything I can do to reduce it?

Thanks

What sort of headlights are they?

Thanks for the reply @Paws4Thot

It’s these ones - (these are not my actual headlights - too dark to take a photo at the moment)

Condensation in the headlights is normal.

Don't worry about it.

Don't waste ur time on it.

There have been plenty of discussions about this topic in the past, if u search.

If it’s mostly down by where the DRL’s are that’s normal because of poor design, basically LEDs don’t produce as much heat so get condensation.

You should see that your actual main beam the condensation isn’t there because it’s warmer

Thanks for the advice on this everyone.

Good to know it’s normal for these type of headlights.
