Instrument cluster buzzer fault

Featured Replies

Hi all, new here:

I bought a 2013 Greentech Elegance for my son, which is a great first car. It has no indicator noise, and no headlight warning buzzer. From reading various VW forums, it seems the likely cause is the mini-speaker on the rear of the cluster. I am happy to replace that myself, but I am seeing several different part numbers and designs on available websites.

Does anyone have a picture of the rear of their cluster, showing the speaker? Or has anyone undertaken this repair and has a part number?

Thanks in advance!

Try posting on the VW Up! forum - loads of Citigo owners there, and at least one moderator who works in a VW parts centre....

FIXED! Replaced the speaker on the clocks PCB and it's fixed the issue. Replacement part was AliExpress, cost £15 to do.

If anyone is in the same boat, I can write a how-to as I took step by step pictures.
