Hello I have a skoda rapid 2013 and am trying to find the blower resistor but can't find it. I followed the guide in a previous thread about this. The first screenshot is a YouTube video that was linked in the post but I seem to have something different see my picture of the same location in the third picture.

Can anyone explain what I am not understanding or where I am going working and how to fix it?

You probably have the Climatronic system which uses a transistorised controller instead of the resistor pack.

Thank you so much for the reply :DI see is this a garage job then? How would I go about looking into this issue or my fan for the heater not working with this system?

Ive just changed my resistor pack on our 2014 rapid spaceback and its right at the top of the cabin filter, if you want to check yours is the same remove the filter and use a mirror and torch to see if its right at the very top, if you can see it you have to remove the glovebox to get to the top of it and you might just be able to see the wires on the outside , to remove it you have to turn it 90deg then it lifts up, it is hard to see and remove but you can do it. cheers Stuart

Thanks so much for the reply. I will take a look but I think after some research the original comment is correct and my car has a different system and looks like I will have to remove the dash and things so sadly looks like a garage job. Unless does your car have a climatronic system but still uses a resitor rather than a transitor?
