2024 headlights puzzle - facelift model or not?

Featured Replies

I'm desperately looking forward to the delivery of the newest car I ever bought by far.... a 24 reg Octavia SE L E-Tec 1.5 estate.

What I can't work out is if it is the facelift model or not.

Made 02.05.2024. Sales type (whatever that means) NX54JD.

From photos and a video it seems to have the facelift body, infotainment system etc...

But it has single-piece wide headlight covers, with separate lights at numberplate height.

So.... was it a decent price because it was one of an end-of-line job lot Arnold Clark bought?

I'm sure I'll still love it either way, but it would be fun to know before I get it in 5 days' time.

That build date seems too early to be a FL car..... Could you put a photo on here to show the front end and the Infotainment system?

That's just a normal mk4 not a facelift. The Infotainment is also the older one as fitted to the mk4 rather than the newer Infotainment fitted to the facelift cars. 👍

Thanks.  I guess that explains the decent price! 😊

Yep, a pre-FL car in what looks like Petrol Blue, same as mine.

Enjoy…

This is how the FL headlights look like.
