Hello everyone,

I am looking on information on updating my Skoda Octavia (2015) infotainment system. 

 

I would like to know whether a Firmware-Update is available and whatnot might improve?

 

And I would like to learn whether it would be possible to add Smart link functionality to it?

@pab567 is your man and hopefully he can advise as appropriate.

@Dahaniel to get SmartLink you need to exchange at least glove box unit and display. Pls share VIN so I can check and share more details.

And would upgrading the firmware give any new features or is it mostly Bugfixes?

No new features, just bugfixes
