Why when I am stop/starting in traffic, ie going very slowly, rolling do I get a knocking/tapping/almost crunching kind of noise from somewhere around the front wheels (at least it sounds like it's coming from the front wheels)

I presume the noise is always there, but over a certain speed, road noise takes over and I can't hear it.

Car is only four months old but has got 10K on the clock... can't be wheel bearings can it?

Grit in the tread of the wheels?

ARB bushes used to be a problem on the MKI Octy, but I don't know if this is still the case on the MK II.

My old Laguna used to do that, turned out to be something related to the springs. Maybe worth looking under the wheel arches and rock the car

from side to side and see if you can hear anything. maybe its just something

that needs greased up.?????
