Setting the Virtual Cockpit

Featured Replies

I'll use the Skoda nomenclature to describe the question.

Is there any way to set the oil temperature so that it appears in area A of the virtual cockpit? don't care if it appears on the left or the right.

Alternatively is there a way to make the driving data appear in area A so that I can choose to see the oil temp in the centre of the dash?

Area A is the area inside the tachometer or inside the speedometer.

Not sure on answer to your question, but I like this setting , shows all the relevant info your after.

This does, indeed, provide all the information I'd like on the dash.

If anybody know how to do it while maintaining the classic "2 dials" look I'd be grateful.

I use the classic two dials layout with the oil temperature in the middle between the two dials.   I'll go through what I did tomorrow and make notes and then post here.  However, you say that Kenny R's display provides all the information you would like on the dash, but the two dial plus oil temp in the middle display doesn't, I think also allow fuel consumption display.

I like the driving info overview that you can have in the middle for it's completeness. It would be nice to put oil temp inside one of the dials.

Most of the reason I asked is because our other car is a Mk 8 Golf R and you can configure the info in the l/h dial to show coolant, oil and gearbox temps. So it's a case of trying to make the display look the same when changing from one to the other. Not a big thing by any means, just a bit odd that you can get the oil temp to the right hand of the display in some views and not in others.

This is how I have my dash configured.  Does this show what you want to have on your dash?

I can get that view, I'd like to put the driving data where the P is

I noticed no-one has mentioned it, having played around with my cockpit display to get the navigation back up, you can set what appears in each dial (two dial display) in the infotainment screen. It's an arrow up down selection for each dial on the screen.

Yep, tried that but can't seem to get the data I want exactly where I want it. How odd that VAG group have different "settings" for what is basically the same infotainment system!
