Loud warning bell

Featured Replies

Parked car and went shopping, locking car with key fob and sensor (area renowned for car theft). Came back, opened driver’s door and loud bell sound. No idea what it was, but stopped when door shut. Got home, opened door and off it went again. Then saw message on dash “turn off lights” - somehow, the light switch had been moved to second position. Why the switch is at knee knocking level, I do not know.

At least you now know what the warning is for.

Takes me back to the 80s, and my Mazda 626, which had a multitude of sounds, for different warnings, rather than the Karoq’s single bongs for everything - unless I haven’t triggered them all, yet!!
