My 2014 Fabia Mk2 105 TDI has been making this strange clicking noise for ages and so when I found this thread on this forum from two years ago it was a bingo moment!

Now I'd like to change it but when I google the part number you get a whole range from just £14 on ebay right through to £101 on Skoda shop. I don't want to skimp but at the same time the part looks exactly the same whereever a buy it. Can anyone recommend somewhere they get their parts from please?

Would you buy a part from Ebay or Amazon?

Would it be better to buy what I know to be a genuine second hand one?

Thats not a bad price for a genuine new one. Its only about £20 more than the febi equivalent in uk. You can get a Febi 183760 for £40-00 including delivery from Autodoc but how long it would take??
