Rear Boot Accessories

Featured Replies

I picked up my new (to me) Octavia at the weekend and so far it’s been great! I noticed in the boot it has a few empty straps and I’ve finally figured out what’s missing!

The warning triangle and first aid kit didn’t come with the vehicle, but it’s something I’d like to add back.

I noticed that the first aid kit retaining clips are missing, and instead it’s just the pieces of fabric rope and no plastic clips to secure it in place.

Does anyone know the part number for the clips? And does anyone know the part numbers for the triangle?

You can buy the warning triangle and first aid kit from a Skoda dealer, but they'll probably charge you £30 and £20 respectively.

If you want the official items, you can get them through skodaparts.com

It's a bit dear for postage, as it's coming from the Czech republic, so you might want to order some other items whilst you are there? They are quite good at responding to queries, so you could ask them about the missing clip?

My warning triangle is a generic item, that I got from a VW breaker for under a fiver, but it fits perfectly. It has the number 27R033954 on it's case. The case measures 43.5x6x3.5cm. It was originally used in my wife's Peugeot, so I think it must be a standard size.

There wasn't a part number on the first aid kit strap buckle I'm afraid.

It looks like a generic webbing buckle - a tri glide? Perhaps a haberdashery might sell you one for a few pence?

Or maybe finda mk3 octavia that's in a scrappy near you?

Ah no scratch that - it's a clip. So you just need a webbing clip from a haberdasher, if the scrappy option doesn't work.
