Got the new Mark 4 now and figured out what all the bits are for....apart from this:-

Aluminium bar with what looks like 2 x plastic loop handles on it

Anyone know?

Yeah I found it really useful, but took some of it with a pinch of salt because it’s a European spec car which I believe has differences to UK. The bull horn rear headrests for example - Europe gets them but we don’t.

Southport is actually in Europe, just across the Channel from the rest of it.

Of course, but what I meant is that from what I've seen in this forum and elsewhere, Skoda cars sold in the UK don't always have the same features as the same models sold elsewhere. The bull horn rear headrests being one example. We don't get them in the UK but elsewhere in Europe does.

So it's basically just to stop stuff from sliding about in the boot? Seems overkill unless youre going round chicanes doing the ton lol. Also my car has the boot mat which covers those fixing points so I'd need to cut holes in it I think.

While we're here, anyone know where these hooks are meant to fit?

The load cover, is that the black bar with the sliding blind? If so I can't see a silver bar on mine?

I believe it clips onto this?

The two 2kg capacity hooks clip onto the rear bar of the "multifunctional pocket" It took 6 months to figure that out after purchasing the car.

The plastic handles slide along the rail on either side to hold loads in place. The rail can mount in two places in the floor.

Got it now thanks all. I do carry a lot of stuff in the boot but struggling to think if I'd ever have need to use this at all.
