Overhead Warning Light?

Featured Replies

Can anyone advise what an open door, yellow car symbol means saying "OFF" and how to remedy it? I can't find it in the manual. It doesn't seem to match the warning symbols in the manual for the airbags.

Additional comment on airbag lights

Hello, welcome to the forum.

I'd read that symbol as side airbag deactivated, but will check online.

That is the switch to turn interior light on/off when you open a door. In the picture the function is set to off , the lights do not light up when you open a door.

Well done for finding that, I couldn't find it after a pretty wide search!

Thanks for your replies. I didn't think it was the airbag as I checked to see that it was "On".

Supplementary question if I may......how do I turn the interior light function back to "On"

(Again, can't find in the manual. It refers me to the Digital Manual for interior lighting, but when I visit that, it is "address not found"!)

Just push the button so its not yellow/amber light

Thanks. Yes, I tried pressing the overhead button. It goes out for a nanosecond, then comes back on again.

Have to be more tender…..It is a fiddly touch button so it can keep you busy for a while.

Also have all the doors shut when you toogle the switch, it can be confused otherwise.

Thank you so much. You’re spot on ie.make sure doors are shut and press gently. It then gives a satisfying beep and the warning light goes off. Good work 😀
